Additive-Free Turkey Slices at Home

This time, I prepared my previous chicken recipe with turkey, making a large portion for my gathering of 30 people with thick slices; it’s both tasty and filling, offering a completely additive-free and practical snack! Enjoy it hot or cold; it’s a healthy option to have on hand at all times.

Ingredients

  • • 1 carrot

    • 1 red bell pepper

    • 1 handful of parsley

    • 3 green onions

    • 5 cloves of garlic

    • 1 pack of turkey breast

    • 1.5 teaspoons each of cumin, paprika, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder

    • 1 teaspoon of salt

    • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

    • 1 teaspoon of gluten-free baking powder

    • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

    • 1 cup finely ground oats (add gradually)

    • Water as needed

Preparation

1. Place the ingredients in a food processor, adding the oats and water at the end.

2. The water amount may vary depending on the oats, but I added 3/4 cup oats and 2 tablespoons water. The mixture should be sticky yet well-combined in the processor, forming a cohesive ball.

3. Transfer the mixture to parchment paper and shape it into a roll, ensuring it’s fully wrapped.

4. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 1 hour.

5. Slice and enjoy either hot or cold.

6. You can freeze it to cut into thinner slices later 🤗.
