Spicy Chickpea Tofu

The whole family loved it and it was gone like a snack. I put it on a salad and it was delicious and filling. 🤗

PREPARATION:

Ingredients

  1. 100gr chickpeas

  2. 250ml water

  3. salt

  4. 2 tablespoons vegetable seasoning

  5. 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, thyme, paprika, black pepper

Preparation

It's actually pretty easy.


  1. I washed the chickpeas I measured and soaked them in carbonated water overnight.

  2. In the morning I just drained it and put it in the blender without rinsing it.

  3. I added water and salt and blended it in the blender at high speed.

  4. I added the spices and gave it another short stir.

  5. Then I put it directly into the pot and cooked it until it boiled and reached the right consistency.

  6. Then I poured it into the glass container that I had slightly wetted.

  7. I put it in the fridge to rest for at least 6 hours or overnight.

  8. I took it out of the mold, cut it into cubes and fried it in the Air Fryer at 180° for 15 minutes with a little olive oil.
