Asparagus with Almonds

When it is in season, you should eat it in abundance. Whether boiled, sautéed or baked. It goes well with pasta, meat dishes, salads and everything else :)

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of asparagus (300gr)

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil/safflower oil

  • Salt and pepper as desired

  • 40 g raw almonds without skin

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice



Preparation

  1. After washing the asparagus and removing the hard parts, we cut it into 4 lengthwise.

  2. Chop 4 cloves of garlic randomly and throw them in. Combine them in the pot.

  3. We add as much salt and pepper as you want, 1 tablespoon of oil and 1 tablespoon of water and cook.

  4. In another bowl, we roast the almonds with a little salt and without oil.

  5. When both are cooked, we combine them. We pour lemon juice on it.
